Product Description
WWII Era DWM 7.65X21mm P.08 GERMAN LUGER Pistol C&R WORLD WAR 2
CHROMED PISTOL with LEATHER HOLSTER
Here we present a World War II Era Commercial DWM Semi-Automatic P.08 German Luger Pistol, made circa 1938-39 by DWM in Berlin, Germany. Basing his design off Hugo Borchardt’s seminal C93, Georg Luger successfully brought Borchardt’s work to practical fruition. While finding buyers for the C93 seemed an exercise in futility, the new Luger Pistol found many countries eager to test it and even adopt it.
This pistol was made prior to WWII and is chambered in 7.65×21 or .30 Luger. This is likely a capture that was brought home and finished as you see it now as a war trophy.
The overall condition is good. Refinished. The action is excellent. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The grips are in good condition. Numbers match on the barrel, frame, toggle, side plate and takedown lever. The leather holster is in good condition for its age.
