Product Description

Very Nice IVER JOHNSON Arms .32 S&W Top Break HAMMERLESS DA C&R Revolver

Small Early 20th Century Conceal & Carry Revolver

Here we present a C&R Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works Double Action Hammerless Top Break Revolver in .32 S&W caliber, made circa the early 20th Century in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The company continued to operate until 1993. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense in the years leading up to the Roaring Twenties.

This revolver is chambered for 5 shots of .32 S&W and features a trigger safety insert, somewhat like those in striker fired handguns today. The top of the barrel is marked “IVER JOHNSON ARMS & CYCLE WORKS/FITCHBURG, MASS. U.S.A.”, along with the patent dates. The grips are marked with the company owl’s face on either side.

The overall condition is fine. Much original finish has been preserved. The bore bright with strong rifling. Both grips are very good with less than average handling wear. Markings are sharp. Strong action.

Own the original! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.

Barrel is 3 inches.
