Very Nice HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON Top Break DA .32 S&W C&R 6-Shot Revolver
Early 1900s SELF DEFENSE CONCEAL & CARRY Weapon
Here we present a C&R Harrington & Richardson Top-Break Double Action Revolver in .32 Centerfire, made circa the turn of the century in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 1875, Gilbert Harrington and former Frank Wesson employee William Augustus Richardson established the Harrington & Richardson Company, which was incorporated as The Harrington & Richardson Arms Company in 1888, with an original investment of $75,000. Harrington served as president, Richardson as treasurer, and George F. Brooks as secretary. Their 6-shot .32 centerfire revolver became a popular choice for self-defense during the early 20th century.
The overall condition is fine. Original nickel and blue finishes. Strong action, although the cylinder has some wiggle when locked up. The bore is in good shape retaining some shimmer and strong rifling. Both grips are fine and have little handling wear. Visible numbers match. Markings are legible.
