SPANISH “Secret Service Special” Top Break .32 DOUBLE ACTION C&R Revolver
NICKEL FINISH Top Break CONCEAL & CARRY Revolver
Here we present a C&R Spanish “Secret Service Special” Top Break Double Action Revolver chambered in .32 S&W, made circa the turn of the century in Spain. The Secret Service Special was made by five different makers including Iver Johnson, Meriden Firearms, Hopkins & Allen, Harrington & Richardson, and an unknown Spanish maker. This example is the unknown Spanish version, which some research indicates it was Guisasola Hermanos.
This little revolver was designed to be a small but potent self-defense revolver for stowing in one’s pocket in the early 20th Century.
The overall condition is fine. Original nickel finish. Robust action. The bore is in good shape with some light pitting and serviceable rifling. Markings are legible. Thin cracks are present on the left grip, otherwise both grips are good with vibrant colors. Here is wonderful little piece of Spanish history that’s soon to be few and far between!
