RON LONG of DENVER CUSTOM Rolling Block Rifle .32-40 BALLARD Remington BPCR
Schuetzen Style Offhand Target Competition Precision
Here we present a Customized Schuetzen Remington Rolling Block by Ron Long of Denver, Colorado. This rifle was made as you see it to be a competitive precision rifle for offhand shooting. It has a 29 1/2” octagonal barrel in .32-40 Ballard, marked with “R. LONG” and “DENVER”. Scope bases mounted. The walnut stocks are stippled for grip. The hooked butt plate is marked “AL FREELAND”. Both of these gentlemen made and sold precision rifle parts and were accomplished shooters themselves, to say the least.
The overall condition is very fine. Nicely blued finish. The action is excellent with a light and crisp trigger. The overall weight of the rifle is 13 lbs. The bore is excellent with sharp rifling. The stock is solid. It comes with some brass, a Lyman .32 caliber bullet mold, and two boxes of two different types of .32 cast lead bullets. This is a fantastic rifle and competition ready. Just add your sight!
