Product Description
NON-FIRING COLT .22 Short Rimfire “LORD” of “LORD & LADY” DERINGER Set 1970
The “LORD” part of the “Lord and Lady” Set!
Here we present a Colt Fourth Model Deringer made in the early to mid-1970s as part of the “Lord and Lady” set in Hartford, Connecticut. The Lord and Lady Deringers were a cased set with approximately 12,000 sets made with a production run from 1970 to 1973. This “Lord” gun is gold plated with a black chrome barrel with walnut grips. Though marked for .22 Short, the barrel on this pistol is designed so it will not open for loading a round in the chamber, and the firing pin is too short. In essence, this pistol has been deactivated.
The overall condition is fine. Great dark finish that contrasts well with the gold. This example is non-firing, though the action (hammer/trigger) functions properly. The bore is bright. All markings are sharp and clear. Here is a fantastic little piece to brighten up the collection!
This firearm is deactivated.
Barrel is 2-1/2 inches.
Overall condition as seen in photos.
