Product Description
NON-FIRING COLT .22 Short Rimfire “LADY” of “LORD & LADY” DERINGER Set 1970
The “LADY” part of the “Lord and Lady” Set!
Here we present a Colt Fourth Model Deringer made in the early to mid-1970s as part of the “Lord and Lady” set in Hartford, Connecticut. The Lord and Lady Deringers were a cased set with approximately 12,000 sets made with a production run from 1970 to 1973. This “Lady” gun is gold plated with a gold chrome barrel with plastic grips. Though marked for .22 Short, the barrel on this pistol is designed so it will not open for loading a round in the chamber, and the firing pin is too short. In essence, this pistol has been deactivated.
The overall condition is fine. Lovely finish. This example is non-firing. The action (hammer/trigger) is strong. The bore is bright. Here is a piece that will brighten up the collection!
This firearm is deactivated.
Barrel is 2-1/2 inches.
Overall condition as seen in photos.
