NICKEL & MOTHER of PEARL SMITH & WESSON .32 Safety Hammerless REVOLVER C&R
c1902 5-Shot “LEMMON SQUEEZER”
Here we present a Smith & Wesson 2nd Model .32 Caliber Double Action Safety Hammerless Revolver, Finished in Nickel with Mother of Pearl Grips, made circa 1902 in Springfield, Massachusetts.
This revolver was made to be a simple, compact and reliable firearm that one could carry in a pocket or a holster around the turn of the 20th Century. This revolver features an internal hammer design to remove risk of snagging or stopping the action. There is a grip safety built into the back of the grip frame. The frame is a top-break design that activates the automatic ejector. These are very nice features from the turn of the 20th Century! They were known as “The New Departure” to reflect the company’s new approach to designing revolvers.
The overall condition is excellent. Bright original nickel finish, blue accents, and case colored trigger. Strong action. Bright bore. Firm and vibrant pearl grips. The cartridge box is in great shape. The revolver’s box is in good condition. Here is a truly excellent set for display!
