HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON “Young America” .32 CF DOUBLE ACTION Revolver C&R
Turn of the Century H&R Self Defense Pocket Revolver
Here we present a C&R Harrington & Richardson Young America .32 Caliber Centerfire Double Action Revolver, made circa the turn of the century in Worcester, Massachusetts. This was a very successful revolver with a long production from 1884 to 1941 with approximately 1,500,000 Young America revolvers were made.
It is a medium frame, .32 caliber centerfire 5 shot revolver. This revolver came in barrel lengths of 2, 4 ½, and 6 inches. It made a great companion in the early 20th century, a time that included the Great War, violent labor strikes, racial tensions, gangsters, Prohibition and the Roaring 20s.
The overall condition is good. Original nickel finish. The action functions, but the cylinder does not index properly. The bore has dimmed but remains in good shape. Both grips are in fine shape with nice checkering. Sharp markings.
