Product Description
HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON M1904 .32 S&W DOUBLE ACTION C&R Revolver w/NICKEL
.38 S&W Centerfire SELF DEFENSE Revolver!
Here we present a C&R Harrington & Richardson Model 1904 Double Action Revolver, made circa the late 1920s to the early 1930s in Worcester, Massachusetts with a production run between 1904 and 1941. Originally intended to replace the H&R American Double Action which had been in production since circa 1883 and was considered obsolete.
They exhibited minor changes to lock work and grip frame and angle. They did not prove to be well accepted, for whatever reason, and the American Double Action remained in parallel production. They were chambered for 6 shots of .32 S&W Long and 5 shots of .38 S&W. All were engineered for smokeless/Nitro powder pressures. At some point, the H&R began to mark the top strap as Model 04 for the .32s and Model 1904 for the .38s.
Overall the condition is fine. Original nickel finish. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Robust action. Both grips are seated firmly with more handling wear on the right than the left. Markings are sharp.
