EARLY 1800s .76 Caliber Big Bore “MANSTOPPER”
Here we present an antique Flintlock Pistol with a Snap Bayonet by John Cuff, made circa 1820s in London, England. John Cuff was a goldsmith, Jeweler, and Dealer in Firearms working out of 131 New Bond Street between 1818 through 1824, before moving to 106 Regent St. in 1825 and continuing through 1827. In this era, Birmingham and London were the epicenters for English gunmaking all the way through the turn of the century.
