Product Description
DWM Model 1906 Commercial AMERICAN EAGLE 7.65x21mm GERMAN LUGER Pistol C&R
Pre-WORLD WAR I Pistol for the American Market
Here we present a Pre-World War I Model 1906 American Eagle Luger Pistol, made circa 1908 by DWM (Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken) in Berlin, Germany. The reason it is called the “American Eagle” is because DMW stamped an American Crest on top of the receiver for the American market.
The overall condition is good. Refinished. There are faint BUG proofs on the barrel and receiver and toggle components. The action is excellent. The grip safety functions with the caveat that it lacks the spring tension to push back out. The bore is in good condition, reflective with good rifling. The grips are solid. The numbers match throughout. Grips properly unnumbered. Magazine is a replacement.
