CASED BRACE of ENGRAVED GERMAN SILVER PISTOLS by BOLTON British .45 Antique
Mid-19th Century Gentleman’s Sidearms Dueling
Here we present a Cased Pair of antique T. Bolton & Company Dueling Pistols, made circa the early to mid-1800s in London, England, shortly after the percussion firing system was introduced. We believe this maker to have been related to J.H. Bolton of Birmingham. These boxlocks are made of German silver and are beautifully engraved. Ramrods are captive on swivels under the barrels.
The overall condition is fine. The actions are excellent. The bores are smooth and in great shape. Grips show use and remain solid. Birmingham proofed. Beautifully engraved. Case is in very good condition. Includes a cleaning rod, powder flask, bullet mold, nipple wrench, lead balls, cap tin, oiler and a key.
Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.
Barrels are 5-7/8 inches.
Calibers: .45 Percussion
