c1905 Nickel SMITH & WESSON .32 Safety Hammerless Revolver Factory Box C&R
“NEW DEPARTURE” aka “LEMON SQUEEZER”
Here we present a C&R 2nd Model Smith & Wesson .32 Double Action Safety Hammerless Revolver, made circa 1905 in Springfield, Massachusetts.
This revolver was made to be a simple, compact and reliable firearm that one could carry in a pocket or a holster around the turn of the 20th Century. This revolver features an internal hammer design to remove risk of snagging or stopping the action. There is a grip safety built into the back of the grip frame. The frame is a top-break design that activates the automatic ejector. These are very nice features from the turn of the 20th Century!
The overall condition is very fine. Original nickel finish with blued accents and case colored trigger. Strong action. The bore is bright with nice rifling. Sharp lettering and the numbers match. Firm, trademarked grips with minimal wear. This example includes a factory box, and though the label is torn, the description of the finish a nickeled gun remains. A very handsome S&W revolver from the early-20th Century!
