BRACE of FRENCH Antique .58 Caliber Single Shot Pistols DUELING OFFICER
Mid-19th Century
Here we present an antique Matched Pair of Large Bore French Pistols, made circa the 1830s. These pistols were made as flintlocks and were eventually updated to the percussion system. These have 7 1/8” barrels in .58 caliber and are of martial size.
The overall condition is very good. Original finish and patina. The actions are excellent. The bores are smooth and in good condition. The stocks show use and remain solid. Ramrods are absent.
