Here we present an antique European Double Barrel Flintlock Pistol, made circa the early 1800s, likely France. This would have likely been intended as a self-defense gun. In a day when the single shot pistol was the standard, this side by side flintlock pistol would have been a very handy self-defense weapon to have around, having two shots to fire off instead of one! This self-defense pistol would have been most at home in the pocket of anyone in the busy cities of London or Paris during the tumultuous times of the early to mid-1800s.

The overall condition is fair. Neither action is functional at this time. The bores are smooth and patinated. The stock shows much use and has some stable splits. Horn ramrod.
