Product Description

1911 Dated SWISS Rework LUGER PISTOL & HOLSTER 2 Magazines 7.65x21mm DWM 30

With Grip Safety & German Proofs

Here we present a C&R Swiss Military Rework Luger, made by DWM in Berlin, Germany in 1911. This one has the grip safety, no stock lug, “GELADEN” marked extractor, and a safety that is active in the high position with a polished indicator at the lower position. This one has a 1911 date on the chamber. Bernerprobe proofed and Swiss barrel rework proof on the bottom of the barrel with older German military proofs on the frame and toggle. Numbers match throughout, including the grips, and the Swiss numbered the barrel to match when it was replaced. It comes in a Swiss holster that is Swiss proofed with a cross as well as with the maker name “A. TRACHSEL” and the place “LEISSIGEN” along with two Swiss tin-plated magazines, one with an unmarked wooden base and the other with an unmarked dark plastic base both correct for Swiss Lugers. There is a faint name on the underside of the flap that appears to be “Müller”.

The overall condition is fine. Arsenal refurbished by the Swiss. The action is excellent. The bore is excellent: shiny bright with sharp rifling. The grips are in very good condition. The numbers match throughout. The holster is likewise in fine condition. This is a neat Swiss Luger made in Germany with two magazines and a nice holster. You can be sure that whatever the Swiss did to this Luger only improved it!

This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.

Barrel is 4-5/8 inches.

Caliber: 7.65x21mm Auto (.30 Luger)
